Abstract: Reading is a fundamental process of school learning, which requires a broad group of skills, including language skills such as phonological awareness, vocabulary and the individual reading skills themselves, such as decoding and reading comprehension. There is one group that presents reading difficulties, children with dyslexia, and another group that have been identified as at risk for reader learning, children with specific language disorder (TEL). There are several studies and theories that have sought a relationship between both sides. ; La lectura es un proceso fundamental del aprendizaje escolar. Esta requiere un grupo amplio de habilidades; entre ellas, habilidades lingüísticas como la conciencia fonológica y vocabulario, y habilidades lectoras en sí mismas, como la decodificación y comprensión lectora. Existe un grupo que presenta dificultades de la lectura, los niños con dislexia, y otro grupo que se ha identificado de riesgo para el aprendizaje lector, los niños con trastorno específico del lenguaje (TEL). Existen diversos estudios y teorías que han buscado relación entre ambos cuadros.
